HISTORY

Glendale once known as Berryville is a town that got its name from early settlers who were killed in 1866. The settlers who remained at that time fled the area, leaving what is known today as Glendale available to be reestablished and named by pioneer settlers in 1871.

LOCATION & INFO

Glendale is found on the scenic Highway 89 in what is known as Longvalley. The "Longvalley" also includes the neighboring towns of Mount Carmel/Junction and Orderville. Glendale hosts a quaint orchard surrounded rest stop with a picnic pavilion, restrooms,  and informational kiosk for the nearby Grand Staircase Escalante.
